OUR JANUARY 3rd CONCERT

Unfortunately the combination of very cold weather, illness and the Darts Final resulted in a rather poor attendance. However all those who were there were treated to a very good night of music.

He opened with "Another Op'nin, Another Show" by Cole Porter, music from "The Orient Express" and a version of "Send in the Clowns" on the Bagpipes! We had "Louise" on the Theatre Organ, "Herods Song" and then a Latin American medley finishing with "Tiko Tiko". He concluded his first half with music from the film "ET”.

Lewis began his second half with a Gracie Fields medley which included “Sally” and “Wave Me Goodbye”. There was a medley from “Beauty and the Beast”, “I’ll Never Sing Another Song” and the Elton John song “I’m Still Standing”.  The concert concluded with a selection from “West Side Story” and for an encore he played a syperb rendering of Copacabana”. It was a good concert and a shame it was missed by so many of our regular audience.

Next month is our February concert, which being played by Mike Sullivan on Friday February 7th. 2025. at 7.30pm at Coronation Hall, Spa Road, Woodhall Spa, LN10 6PZ. We look forward to seeing you all.
