“Music for Woodhall”

President Nicholas Martin B.E.M.

Paul Carman playing at Woodhall Spa

Paul Carman was the artist for our November concert.  Playing a Korg keyboard with pedals he gave us his very individual mix of humour and music of varying styles. Items ranged from "Stranger on the Shore", "A Morning in Cornwall" to "Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring" and The Love Theme from "The Godfather" in the style of Andre Rieu. He finished his first half by singing in the style of Jim Reeves "He'll Have to Go" and sang in Nat King Cole fashion "Smile" for his encore.  Everybody had a very enjoyable evening of entertainment and look forward to a return visit.

Next month our President Nicholas Martin B.E.M. will present a special Christmas Concert, which promises to be a very special event.. The concert takes place on Tuesday evening 18th December, at St Peter's Hall, The Broadway, Woodhall Spa, LN10 6ST, starting at 7.30 pm. Admission for visitors is £7.00.  A bumper Raffle is planned and there will be Mince Pies with the interval refreshments.
