The April concert was given by David Thomas to a good sized audience. It is five years since he last visited the club and so was new to many of our members. He opened with a Brass Band March called the "DHOS" March and followed with  "Ain't MisBehavin" as a Guitar piece. He did a lovely item of Jim Reeves "Welcome to my World" with video clips of the great man to accompany it. He also played a pleasing Dance Music medley, as he is very well known on the Sequence Dance circuit. We also had some Petula Clarke and a lovely rendering of Acker Bilk's "Stranger on the Shore".  Throughout the evening he explained the various playing techniques and instrument features he was employing for various pieces, which is always of great interest to players, but perhaps a bit lost on others. All in all it was a very good evening of music rounded off with his superb encore performance of "Well did you ever" from "High Society", in which he sings a duet with an on screen Bing Crosby, thanks to his video editing wizardry.

Next month we welcome back the ever popular Andrew Nix, who will guarantee us a magnificent evening of superb music and entertainment. The concert takes place on Friday May 3rd,.starting at 7.30pm and we look forward to welcoming you all to Coronation Hall, Woodhall Spa.
